easy access for late arrival, friendly staff
the breakfast was nothing to write home about, apart from the really good home-made granola
Food, staff outstanding, parking, very close to dinning and shopping
The homy feeling and friendly of staffs. The deserts and hot drinks.
The front desk need to be more organized and appealing.
The king size bed was very comfortable, and I loved meeting new people. Also, the women who ran the bed and breakfast were very good at their jobs, and attentive to all our needs. They were wonderful!
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was good. The Bath Inn is centrally located..close proximity to shopping, botanical gardens, beach, wine tasting, etc.. great tasting wine and cheese in the afternoon with delicious homemade pastries.
The breakfast is vegetarian ...no meat. I like chicken sasuage , turkey sasuage, or bacon with my breakfast. The bathroom is really small. The clawfoot tub/shower combo is nice but, small space. No air conditioning, but nice fireplaces in some rooms for the winter.
The shady outoor area and patio with trees provided a cool alternative to the unseasonably warm weather. It was easy, enjoyable and fun to sit there for hours, drinking, tea, wine and eating freshly baked cookies and cakes while mingling casually with the other residents. While socializing was easy and fun, it was not mandatory and there were plenty of areas to be quiet, contemplative and unobtrusive. Since the place was near State Street, it was painless to walk and find one of many restaurants. Overall, a more intimate, causal, unhurried experience in contrast to a luxury hotel.
Nothing stands out
I visited Bath Street Inn with my daughter (in her late 20's). It was very cozy and comfortable. The women who run the Inn were very warm and friendly and made us feel at home. The room was clean and the bed was luxurious. Great food too! Service was excellent. The outside patio is very pleasant and provides a very pleasant outside dining area.
It is a little far off the main shopping area of Santa Barbara. Not far with a car, but a little far for walking to restaurants, etc. especially in the evening.
great stay, very nice staff and service. really nice rooms and wonderful breakfast! just a few minutes from the main shopping street and all the bars and restaurants. we will come back!
Friendly staff & best breakfast ever!
Lovely B&B, homey, wonderful food, clean rooms, cozy. Would come again in a heartbeat.
Wish we were told there was coffee in the kitchen in the morning...
The staff was very friendly and made u feel comfortable and the food was great.
First let me say the breakfasts were AMAZING! (This is, after all, a bed and breakfast) Incredible food, great service, quiet, very comfortable bed, and my wife loves bubble baths so the big jacuzzi tub was a real hit!
The room was rather small.
They were so nice and helpful. Plus lots of snacks, tea, and winen :)
The owner/manager and her staff were more than friendly. We were quickly and efficiently provided with local information and maps. The evening wine and cheese plus the morning breakfast exceeded that of many B&B's. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with the other transients. The Bath Street location is a handy walk to the downtown and its many restaurant options.
The bathroom was petite.
My daughter and I were touring colleges when we stayed at Bath Street Inn. After a long drive and two college tours, Marie greeted us with delicious cake and tea, and showed us to a room with a comfortable bed and a gentle breeze blowing in through an open window. Later, after a nap, she pulled up an online menu of a popular sushi restaurant we had been talking about and made sure she knew the time of our early morning departure so breakfast would be ready. I greatly appreciated their meticulous care.
